Dan and Su have a combined experience of over 25 years working in the field of Natural Medicine. They both hold lecturer positions at the Australian College of Natural Medicine where they teach in the Acupuncture Bachelor Degree course. \

Susan Novikov

B.A. (UQ), Adv. Dip. Health Science Acupuncture (ACNM)

Su has studied and practiced acupuncture and the traditional oriental medical arts for over 15 years. Su has been a lecturer at a number of acupuncture colleges in Brisbane, and was the clinical supervisor at the Australian Institute of Applied Science's student clinic. Along with oriental medicine Su has studied the treatment of metabolic disease through nutritional and herbal medicine. Her practice has led her to specialize in the treatment of somatic-emotional disorders – conditions that affect mind and body. In this area Su is able to very effectively treat stress related disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, migraines and headaches, pain, and lowered fertility and immunity. Su also has comprehensive experience in treating musculo-skeletal disorders such as sports injuries, muscle spasm and pain.


Daniel Hall

M. Acu. (UWS), Dip. Health Science (ACNM), Grad Cert Education (UQ) 

Dan Hall has been in acupuncture clinical practice since 1998, and graduated from the Master of Acupuncture degree program (UWS) in 2006. Dan has been involved in teaching acupuncture for over 5 years, and was the Program Leader of the Department of Oriental Medicine at the Australian College of Natural Medicine from 2008-09. Dan supervises the student clinic part time at the college while maintaining his practice at New Farm Acupuncture and Natural Medicine.

Dan specializes in musculo-skeletal disorders and sports injuries, neuromuscular conditions such as neuralgic pain, migraines, fybromyalgia, sciatica, and lower back pain. Dan also has a wealth of experience in the ancient Chinese arts of Qi Gong (breathing exercises) and Taiji, Bagua, and Hsing-I (martial arts) that he draws upon when treating his patients. Dan's keen interest in biomechanics and posture makes him well suited to treating musculo-skeletal and pain related conditions.
